According to the theory of biogenesis, steviol and gibberelline are metabolites from ent-kaurene as homologous compounds. So the hydrolytic products from stevioside-steviol and isosteviol may be the precursors of analogs of GA, which will show the same bioactivity as GA. After modifying their structures, we have got a series of PGRs.
