An adequate empirical model of TEC is supplied by Fourier hamonic analysis over Xinxiang (35. 3°N, 113. 9°E), middle latitude of China using observation of the radio beacon satellite ETS-Ⅱ during the descending half of the solar cycle from 1981 to 1985.
