Four complex of perchlorinated metallo-phthalocyanines MPcCl

(M=Fe

) were synthesized and employed for the photocatalytic degradation of Rhodamine B in aqueous. The results show that their photocatalytic activity is different with the central metal of phthalocyanines and the pH value.Under the optimal pH value FePcCl
16
exhibits the most photocatalytic activity. When at the condition of pH 6.86 and 100 min illumination
its photocatalytic efficiency is up to 89.86%.When the sample of FePcCl
16
employed to degrade Rhodamine B
the best technical conditions are as follows: the amount of the catalyst is 0.4 g/L and bubbling with air or oxygen.
