Catalytic antibody is the antibody that can catalyze chemical reactions. After designing and synthesizing a chemical reaction transiton state analog, taking it as hapten, binging it with carrier protein , we make the antigen, then through the immunological reaction, we get the antibody which can catalyze this chemical reaction. In general ,the antibodyd catalyzed reactions proceed with rates 103~106 times faster than the uncatalyze reactions .In recently, many organic chemical reactions, including some disfavored chemical reactions, can by catalyzed be antibody.
