To investigate the interaction between HBV X protein and Human APOBEC3G protein

then to discover the mechanism of its antiviral activity in another perspective.The X gene was digested from prokaryotic expressing plasmid

and ligated with eukaryotic expressing vector.Then HepG2 cells co-transfected with recombinant plasmid pcDNA3.1-X and pcDNA3.1-APOBEC3G.The interaction between HBx and APOBEC3G protein was detected by co-immunoprecipitation.We construct eukaryotic expressing vector with X gene successfully.The HBx and HA-APOBEC3G fusion protein were detected respectively in the immunoprecipitation by anti HBx and anti HA-tag.It indicates that the two proteins can form compounds in HepG2 cells.X protein can combine with APOBEC3G protein in vivo.It suggests HBx plays a role in the effect of anti-human hepatitis B virus of APOBEC3G.
