Quaternized chitosan nanoparticals impregnated chitosan/β-Glycerophosphate(CTS/β-GP) thermo-sensitive hydrogels were prepared. The properties of these hydrogels were investigated. The structure and morphological examination of nanoparticles and thermo-sensitive hydrogels after nanoparticles added were characterized with FT-IR
transmission electron microscopy(TEM)
and scanning electron microscopy(SEM).The results indicated that the impregnation of 0.24-0.96 g/L quaternized chitosan nanoparticals into the thermo-sensitive hydrogels shortened the sol-gel transition time
enhanced the gel strength
and delayed the release of bovine serum albumin(BSA) from the gel.
