The polycondensation in solution of bisphenol A (BPA) with phenyl diimidazole 1
1′ phosphinates (DIPP) was studied for the first time
The polymerization rate and the average molecular weight of the polyphosphate were increased compared with the polycondensation of BPA with phenyl dichloridephosphinate (DCPP) . The influence of imidazole on the polycondensation was preliminarily investigated.
