5 GHz frequency range is presented.This structure showed the characteristic of multiple gaps and pass bands because of the introduction of the H-shaped fractal with self-similar property.And prototype of EBG is fabricated with conventional low-cost printed circuit board techniques.The experimental result is measured by Anritsu 37269C Vector Network Analyzer and the simulated result is obtained by finite different time domain(FDTD) method.The characteristic of multiple gaps and pass bands is proved experimentally and theoretically.
