Abstract
In this paper
we design and implement the deterministic linear network coding in HM-ALM(Hybrid Mesh Application Multicast Model)
a hybrid mesh ALM model.Through experiments we discuss the effects of network coding on the improvement of performance of ALM.The experiments prove that network coding can improve multicast system performance
especially in reducing the transmission delay and strengthening the system robustness.The experimental results show that the transmission delay is decreased by about 50% with our network coding.When the multicast system changes dynamically
all the receiving nodes can get the complete data correctly
and the system can quickly restore to its stable statewith smaller fluctuation of multicast performance.
