The electromagnetic scattering properties of dielectric conductor composite targets have been researched based on the volume/face mixed integral equations solution.According to the equivalent principle
the conductor is replaced by an equivalent surface electric current
and the dielectric is replaced by an equivalent volume polarization current.The respective boundary conditions on the dielectric and the conductor are utilized to solve for the electric current on the entire structure.The method of biconjugate gradients with the fast Fourier transform(BiCGS-FFT) is employed to accelerate the numerical computation.Finally
typical results are presented to illustrate the validity of this method.The presented method lays a solid foundation for the research on scattering properties of complex target with composite structures.
