Employing the carbon nanotubes synthesized by diffusion flame method(F-CNT) and those functionalized with n-hexadecylamine(H-CNT)
F-CNT /vinyl ester resin(VE) and H-CNT/VE composites had been fabricated by in-situ polymerization
respectively.The structure and properties of these composites were studied by scanning electron microscopy(SEM) and dynamic mechanical analyzer(DMA).The experiment results indicate that F-CNT and H-CNT show a better dispersion state comparing with the carbon nanotube synthesized by CVD(C-CNT).In addition
both glass transition temperatures(Tg) and storage modulus(E′) of the composites are closely related to the species and weight percentage of carbon nanotubes.
