Two polysiloxanes with side chain of chromophore groups were synthesized by macromolecule esterification. Their structures were confirmed by 1H\|NMR, IR and elemental analysis. Their phase behaviours were also investigated by differential scanning calorimetry （DSC）, optical polarizing microscopy and X\|ray diffraction.
