To investigate the expression pattern of TRAIL(TNF-related apoptosis-inducing ligand) receptor induced by hantavirus(HV) infection
RT-PCR was employed to half-quantitate the expression of the TRAIL receptors(TRAIL-R1-TRAIL-R4) in human embryonic pulmonary fibroblast(HEPF) which was infected with HV76-118 strain and H-114 strain at 6 h
24 h and 96 h
respectively. The results showed that normal HEPF cells exhibited the highest expression of TRAIL-R4
followed by that of TRAIL-R2.Only TRAIL-R1 was upregulated at 6 h post infection. The expression of TRAIL-R2 and R4 decreased at both 6 h and 24 h post infections. Both of them increased at 96 h subsequently. The expression of TRAIL-R3 was down-regulated in the HV76-118 infected group
but those in the HV H-114 infected group remained unchanged. In conclusion
the expression of TRAIL receptors show the dynamic change during the process of HEPF infected with HV
and a various pattern is exhibited in different subtype HV infected groups.
