Both sol-gel and chemical co-precipitation techniques were used to prepare BaTiO3-CoFe2O4 two-phase composite nano-powders
and then these powders were prepared by solid state sintering at 1 150℃ to form the BaTiO3-CoFe2O4 two-phase composite nano-ceramics.XRD shows that the composite ceramics is composed of tetragonal phase BaTiO3 and spinel phase CoFe2O4
without any obvious impurity.Electrical and magnetic measurements shows that both ferroelectricity and ferromagnetism co-exist in the composite nano-ceramics
which shows promising prospection for magnetoelectric coupling and its application.
