The campus card system based on campus network keeps sensitive information

such as users’ identity data and finance data.Facing various security threats towards the campus network

the call for a more security management of the campus card system is important.Although manufacturers have taken measures to enhance information security for the campus card system

that data confidentiality and integrity can be ensured while transmitting

to be surely free from the various security-threatened attacks from networks outside campus is still far from guaranteed. This paper focuses on discussing the security of the network environment where the campus card system is operated. According to actual needs

the campus card system can be made to run on the campus network

as a server for the campus data center

and it can only be upgraded through this center.The system has a strict network access control

prohibiting unauthorized devices from accessing

and applies private VLAN techniques so as to prevent any terminal information from going out and unauthorized accesses would also be controlled

so that the network would not be easily invaded.
