Specialty construction is the requirement for universities to get adapted to social and economic development actively
to enhance their core competitiveness
and to train the high-quality talents with social adaptability and innovativeness.The specific measures
which are taken by East China Jiaotong University to meet the great demands for electronic information professionals with rail transit focus in china
and guided by CDIO pattern to improve the talent training quality
are introduced in this paper.Furthermore
the overall plan of electronic information engineering specialty construction in East China Jiaotong University is discussed
and a concrete analysis of the professional construction ideas and principles is also given.Finally
this paper designs a training model with rail transit characteristics
and gives a concrete exposition on the setting of the characterized training links.
